2025 Fall Commencement

Graduates

The Registrar’s Office has completed the audit review of the graduation petitions that were submitted for the Fall 2025 Commencement.

Letters of notification were mailed by the Student Services department.

We do not provide invitations with the exception of VIPs, therefore invitations are at the graduating candidate’s expense. There will be no limit for inviting guests. But the capacity will be limited according to the fire code.

Navajotech will have an in-person Commencement– to be scheduled in December at the NTU Wellness Center located on the main campus in Crownpoint, NM. Be on the lookout for a flyer and other media information later in November.

Graduates Information

If you have any questions, please let me know or my ushers…We will be dressed in Light Blue tops and will be wearing badges as well for identification purposes.

If you have a family members who is needing accommodation services (using a wheel chair or walker), please provide their names and I can try my best to reserve a spot for them in our accommodations area. They are allowed only ONE person to assist and sit with them in this area.

Graduation Details:

  • Arrive between 8am to 8:30am, meet on the second floor in the Wellness Center, signs will be available on where you will be placed.
  • Line up will happen at 8:40am upstairs, so be sure to be in the designated rooms.
  • Registrar will be passing out your honor cords at the top floor. Make sure grades are posted by Thursday evening —> speak with your instructors.
  • Graduates can park in the Residential parking lot.
  • Guest will need to check in at the front, if bringing in a bag, please inform them to bring a clear bag, if not, they will be asked to take their bag back to the vehicle.
  • Limit your items to be carried, once we leave the rooms to start the graduation, we will not be monitoring any rooms on top, so we will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Ceremony Information:

  1. Line up in the rooms starting at 9:40am.
  2. Line up in the hall way starts at 9:50am (IMPORTANT- Please do not leave your spot once you are placed in this line).
  3. Line will move to downstairs at 9:55am, Ceremony will start at 10am.
  4. Medicine Man, Dr Guy, and VIPS will be walking in the front, followed by NTU Faculty and then Graduates.
  5. We will exit out the first two doors by main entrance, walk around the building to the South entrance to the Wellness Center.
  6. Ushers will have clearance for all of you to walk down the procession area.
  7. Medicine Man, Dr Guy, BOR and Special Guests will walk on stage to be seated. Administration will be seated on the south side of the grads, and Faculty will be seated behind graduates.
  8. I (Sherietta), will guide you to the rows that you will be seated.
  9. Ceremony will start…
  10. Upon receiving your diploma/certificates, I will come escort you to the front, so please, please, LISTEN out for your Program…IE…“Will the graduates for the Certificate Program- Information Technology Assistant please stand”
  11. Once you get off stage, you will be asked to go to the Skyhawk Perch (Photo booth) to get your pictures and afterwards you will return to your seat.
  12. Upon completion, we will exit out the same way we came in…

December 12 – 10:00 a.m, candidates will need to arrive at the Student Union Center – Upper Level by 8:00 a.m. to prepare and begin line-up. The Wellness center will be open for guests.
